Our tradition of a garage sale during the holiday season to support a charity continues.  This year, we will be supporting a local charity and putting our December school character goal into action

Scholastic Book Fair Nov. 25-27th

A wide assortment of books will be available to purchase for all reading levels.

Remembrance Day Assembly

Our Remembrance Day Assembly will be at 10:15 on Monday November 11th.  Parents and community members are invited to join us as we remember those who faithfully served our country.

One Warm Coat Campaign

Many people in our community do not have a warm coat to wear this winter.  Our students in rooms 9 and 2 are putting our “Empathy” goal into practical action.  They do not want anyone to be cold!

EMPATHY is November’s Character Goal

“We put ourselves in someone else’s shoes.” Learning to have empathy is something that will enrich our lives forever and help us to understand the feelings of others.

Parent-Teacher Interviews

Please contact your child’s teacher if you wish to schedule a meeting or phone interview to discuss your child’s progress, or if you have any questions about the progress report that came home on Monday Nov. 4th.

Construction is beginning

Exciting things will be happening at Mackenzie King next week as our long awaited addition and renovation will begin.  CRD has been awarded the contract and will be onsite as early as next week.

Progress Reports home on Nov. 4th

As we approach the mid-point in first term, teachers of Grades 1 to 6 have begun the process of writing progress reports. These reports will be sent home on Monday, November 4th.
