It is with a very heavy heart that the Mackenzie King P. S. community mourns the loss of Yaquob Alzoubi, in Grade 5.
Yaquob was a kind and happy young person who was loved deeply by his family and friends. Yaqoub loved music, gym class and being with his friends and educators at school.
Our thoughts are with The Alzoubi family.
In honour of Yaquob the flags at Mackenzie King P. S. and the Waterloo Region District School Board will be flown at half-mast this week.
