Students in room 2 investigated and presented a topic of personal interest. What followed today was spectacular. Using the “Gallery Walk” strategy for sharing, students walked around reading and browsing each other’s research. Using sticky notes, they recorded questions, comments and ideas for constructive feedback. Upon completion, they shared their feedback, both for identification of strengths and for suggestions to improve. Students are truly engaged in their own learning and the learning of others. They make connections and ask questions that prompt ideas for further investigation.
