Teachers work together to plan learning goals and success criteria that will guide their instruction in writing in grades 1-3. Students will learn to assess and revise their own writing to include voice, word variety, sentence fluency, and appropriate conventions to provide interest and description for the reader. They will learn to organize their writing in a logical sequence and organized manner so that the reader understands their story or thinking. Skills and concepts are built upon with each grade level.
